
Company Nurse
Job Description
1. Occupational Health Compliance
• Maintain 100% compliance with DOLE and OSHS health and medical requirements.
• Ensure all required health and medical reports are submitted accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
• Achieve zero major findings during internal or external OSH audits related to occupational health services.
2. Medical Incident Response
• Provide first aid or medical assessment within 5 minutes of notification for onsite incidents, where feasible.
• Ensure 100% documentation of workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical consultations.
• Coordinate appropriate referrals for cases requiring further medical evaluation within the same working day.
3. Workplace Injury and Illness Management
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct incident investigations and submit reports within established company timelines.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing preventable workplace injuries and illnesses year-over-year.
4. Employee Health Surveillance
• Achieve 100% monitoring and tracking of employees requiring periodic medical surveillance based on workplace risks.
• Coordinate annual physical examinations and other required health assessments for eligible employees.
• Maintain updated and confidential employee medical records with at least 98% data accuracy.
5. Emergency Preparedness and Response
• Ensure clinic emergency supplies, medicines, and equipment are maintained at 100% operational readiness.
• Participate in and support emergency drills as scheduled by the company OSH Committee.
• Maintain current certifications in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other company-required emergency response programs.
6. Health and Wellness Program Implementation
• Conduct or facilitate at least one health education or wellness activity per quarter.
• Support company initiatives on mental health, disease prevention, vaccination, ergonomics, and healthy lifestyles.
• Achieve targeted employee participation rates in wellness programs as established by management.
7. Clinic and Medical Inventory Management
• Maintain critical medical supplies with zero stockouts of essential first aid and emergency items.
• Perform monthly inventory audits with documented results.
• Ensure proper storage and monitoring of medicines and medical equipment.
8. OSH Committee Support
• Attend and actively participate in OSH Committee meetings.
• Submit required health-related reports and recommendations to management and the OSH Committee on time.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions arising from OSH inspections and incident investigations.
9. Employee Service and Satisfaction
• Maintain positive employee feedback regarding clinic services and health support.
• Respond to employee health inquiries and concerns within agreed service timelines.
• Foster a workplace culture that promotes health, safety, and well-being.
10. Documentation and Record Management
• Maintain 100% confidentiality compliance for employee medical records.
• Ensure all consultation logs, treatment records, and incident reports are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Keep health-related documentation updated in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Preferably with BOSH SO2 Certification and/or First Aid Certification.
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, first aid, and emergency response.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information.
• Good organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with employees, management, and external healthcare providers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Shift Schedule
Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time)
40 hours per week
Salary Package
• Basic Salary: PHP 22,000 – 25,000
• Attendance Allowance: PHP 4,000
• Food Allowance: PHP 100
• Transportation Allowance: PHP 50
