Supervisor, Gift Shop, Days

Responsibilities

Oversees the gift shop's daily operations. The Gift Shop Supervisor has primary buying and pricing authority on items for resale in the gift shop. The supervisor has responsibility for opening and pricing new merchandise, allocating merchandise and maintaining accurate records of all merchandise transferred. This position is responsible for assisting volunteers and paid staff with sales, daily close-out and reconciliation of cash register and credit card transactions, as well as maintaining up-to-date records of employee payroll deduction data.

Qualifications

Required:

• Three years in a retail setting

• High School Diploma or GED
