In this role, you will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to our programs and services. This position serves as administrative support for the office, maintains provider scheduling and aids in triaging patient needs to ensure timely and appropriate services are delivered.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule would be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some evenings required.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for outpatient offices, including phones, scheduling, greeting visitors, and general office tasks.
- Manage calendars, appointments, patient accounts, and wait‑list activities to ensure smooth patient flow and timely admissions.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact, coordinating with staff, patients, and external agencies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure proper handling, security, and retention of office files.
- Keep office and reception areas organized, stocked, and functioning efficiently, including managing supplies and inventory.
- Support data tracking and reporting, ensuring required information is complete and up to date.
- Provide ethical, culturally sensitive customer service to patients and staff in a recovery‑focused environment.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all regulatory requirements.
- Offer backup coverage for registration, admissions, and other site locations as needed.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum one year work experience working in an office or similar customer service setting.
- An understanding of mental illness and substance use, psychiatric symptoms, and impact on functioning and behavior.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health, alcohol and drug treatment and recovery, engagement of persons in treatment and recovery and an understanding of other healthcare systems, social service systems and the criminal justice system.
- Must be able to work well under pressure while being able to perform different tasks in a small time frame.
