Job Description
cFocus Software seeks a GIS Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.

- Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of GIS development experience
- Proficient in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and programming (Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with geospatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial)
- Knowledge of geospatial web services (WMS, WFS, WCS)
- Understanding of coordinate systems and map projections
Duties:
- Develops and maintains geospatial information systems and applications. Implements GIS data processing, analysis, and visualization capabilities.
- Integrates geospatial data from multiple sources and formats.
- Develops custom GIS tools and plugins.
- Optimizes geospatial data storage and retrieval. Implements geospatial web services and APis.
- Ensures compliance with geospatial standards and metadata requirements
