Job Description

Team Overview and Job responsibilities 

We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team.

Based in Poços de Caldas, Brazil, reporting to Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for prepare and operate forklift machine, triggering and manipulating mechanisms and gear control devices, direction and elevation, to move, transport, stack and position various loads, between the areas of the company, accordance with technical standards and procedures of safety and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate forklift machine, triggering and manipulating mechanisms and control devices ofdirection, and elevation, to move, transport, stack and position various loads between areas warehouses and scrap storage, in accordance with technical standards and procedures safety and quality.
  • Fill out the forklifts check-list in and out of each turn.
  • Check materials in the clipboard identified with shipment label and move them, to the specific areas of the stock.
  • Carry out the transport of coils supplying the fractionation area.
  • Assess the feasibility of any operation to be carried out to ensure that the capacity of the forklift used meets the load's need in terms of weight, dimension and geometry.
  • Attention to preserving the integrity of the load, machinery, devices, columns, guards, etc., ensuring that there is no damage to the product, forklift or other objects during the carrying out the operation.
  • Collaborate with the general organization of the area.
  • Follow procedure and comply with definitions of handling and storage of materials.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and motivations: 

  • Complete High School;
  • Enabling forklift operation (NR11)
  • minimum 06 months of experience.
