Job Description

Position Title – Asst Manager – Supply chain Management 

Experience requirement – 5-10 Years

 

 

Job description:  

 

  • Material planning:
    1. Raw Material planning for Overseas and Local/Indigenous Suppliers.
    2. Placement of Purchase order
    3. Tracking shipments
    4. Ensure On time delivery
  • Inventory Management:
    1. Analysis Of inventory
    2. Monitoring the inventory levels
    3. Improvement in inventory turnover, reduction in DOH.

 

  • Documentation:
    1. reviewing documentation for import/Export Shipments , including invoices, customs declarations, and shipping documents. 
  • Compliance:
    1. Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs laws, and Import restrictions. 
  • Coordination:
    1. Working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth trade operations. 
  • Logistics:
    1. Managing the transportation of goods, including arranging shipments, negotiating freight rates, and tracking deliveries. 
  • Communication:
    1. Maintaining communication with clients, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. 
  • Analysis and Optimization:
  1. Analysing  Logistics data, identifying potential cost savings, and recommending improvements to import/export processes. 
  1. Exposure with IATF 16949

 

 

Required Competency:

 

  1. Knowledge about SAP.
  2. Initiative taker.
  3. Good team player can work in cross functions.
  4. Supply chain acumen.
