AI Developer at Odevo
At Odevo, we build production-grade AI systems that change how residential living is managed at scale. Our AI Engineering team is deeply technical, highly collaborative, and driven by learning. We help each other grow and take pride in building systems that thousands of people rely on every day.
This is a backend heavy engineering role where you will design, build, integrate, deploy, and operate AI-powered features across multiple companies and markets within the Odevo group. You’ll work with peers who care as much about engineering craft as they do about real-world impact - a team that shares knowledge openly and enjoys solving meaningful problems together.
What You will build
You’ll work on AI systems that make every-day work smoother for residents, support teams, and property managers - always with real users, real workflows, and clear impact.
LLM-powered case automation
You’ll help improve tools like our case triage engine, which understands incoming maintenance issues, extracts key details, and routes them correctly.
Document intelligence
You’ll build document pipelines that turn unstructured PDFs, inspection reports, and emails into structured insights that help us deliver faster and more accurate service.
Financial and operational insights
You’ll contribute to services that analyze invoice and operational data to identify irregularities and unnecessary costs for property associations.
Internal AI tools
You’ll help evolve tools used daily across the organization - for example, our internal OdevoGPT application, that provide safe and LLM access to all employees.
AI-native developer workflows
You’ll use the latest coding tools to push the limits of what a development team can get done in short time.

How you are?
You are a skilled backend engineer with strong Python experience (experience with multiple other languages, and willingness to go deep into Python is also OK). You also have a genuine interest in applied AI and LLM‑driven products. You care about clarity, reliability, and building production solutions that genuinely help users and colleagues. You’re comfortable shaping ideas from early exploration to production, and you value a culture where people are open, curious, and supportive of each other’s growth. You enjoy working side by side with teammates who share the same drive to learn, build, and create meaningful impact.
