As the Account Manager, Mexico, you will serve as the daily point of contact and relationship manager for both our customer contacts and internal stakeholders in relation to RXO services supporting Mexico

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These are the most significant job duties performed; other responsibilities or assignments not specifically mentioned may also be assigned  

  • Serve as an advocate and liaison for RXO’s top clients and internal stakeholders to ensure overall customer satisfaction in relation to RXO services that support Mexico  

  • Expand current customer accounts through ongoing relationship development and by meeting and exceeding all service and execution requirements 

  • Work creatively with team members to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, procuring specialized equipment, monitoring service and execution standards to meet customer expectations  

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and client needs; cultivate a core book of business for consistent and repeatable sales 

  • Ensure the integrity of the shipment and the RXO brand by following standard processes and procedures 

  • Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics 

  • Monitor and ensure accurate billing; strive to ensure mutually beneficial business operations 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum Required Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work

  • Minimum Required Experience: 1 year of professional experience 

  • Desired Experience: 1 year of experience in transportation sales environment

  • Proven success meeting sales goals; service and execution goals in previous roles 

  • Self-motivated work style with effective time management and organizational skills  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both Spanish and English); ability to present clean, organized and thorough information appropriate for intended audience 

  • Ability to understand competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns
