Senior Manager I, Asset Management
POSITION PROFILE
Responsible for managing all spare parts inventory processes and procedures related to direct field service activities. Works across functions, teams and systems to ensure inventory is positioned across the network to provide a high level of customer satisfaction and maximize inventory investment. Established performance standards and monitors performance of all personnel involved in the spare parts activities in a 24x7 environment.

- Excess inventory management
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a staff of 24 support and analyst personnel in a 24x7 environment
- Supports, Interacts and communicates with the Field Service team daily
- Develops, documents, and communicates processes and procedures
- Establish KIP’s used to manage/monitor performance
- Manage overall inventory strategy and performance
- Identify and manage system enhancements
- Manage inventory levels
- Order placement and escalations
- Inventory search and transportation
- Physical inventory (internal and SOX compliance)
- Inventory adjustments and receipts
- Critical order placement and management
- Excess inventory management
- Completes employee performance reviews and development
- Establishes cross functional relationships to ensure cohesiveness across functions
- Awareness and focus on process efficiency and improvement
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Typically Required:
- Bachelor's degree (business, logistics) or comparable experience
- Experience in inventory control or logistics management
- 5+ years’ experience in inventory control or logistics management preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in service delivery preferred
- Strong analytic and reporting background
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong customer relations skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in Oracle and OBIE.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent leadership skills
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Demonstrate strong motivational and team building skills
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level
- Work assignments are highly diversified. New alternatives are regularly developed. There is often no precedent established for problems encountered
- Work requires constant substantive involvement in stressful situations causing considerable strain on a regular basis
