Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, the Customer Service Representative ensures technical and commercial coordination with external sales representatives, distributors, contractors, engineers, and lighting agencies. This individual establishes and maintains trusted relationships with internal and external customers by delivering high-quality service.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • • Follow assigned sales procedures related to order entry, sales order processing, follow-up, and delivery.

    • Act as the order owner throughout the full order lifecycle from order reception to production release.

    • Serve as a primary contact for sales representatives to resolve customer and order-related issues.

    • Track the entire order process from bid request to quotation and order entry.

    • Prepare quotations in collaboration with sales representatives and communicate pricing throughout the sales channel.

    • Work closely with Sales Management to understand customer expectations, product configurations, requested delivery dates, and pricing requirements.

    • Communicate with customers verbally and in writing through email and phone.

    • Keep all stakeholders informed of any changes related to lead times, shipments, and deliveries.

    • Collaborate with production and shipping teams to provide accurate and timely information to customers.

Minimum Experience

• College degree in administration or equivalent relevant experience required.

• Minimum of 2–3 years of customer service experience in the manufacturing sector, direct sales with municipalities, or contractor-related environments required.

• Experience within a manufacturing company, preferably in the lighting industry or with technical products, strongly preferred.

• Spoken and written bilingualism (French/English) required to support communications with customers, partners, and stakeholders across Canada and North America.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
