Job Summary
The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by the Mass General Brigham system to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. This location has multiple specialties including Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Vascular Surgery. This location also provides services such as Blood Draw Lab, Imaging, Primary Care and Urgent Care/Fast Care.
We are seeking a full-time Practice Coordinator to join our collaborative team supporting our Endocrinology, Sleep/Pulmonary, and General Surgery suites onsite Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

The Practice Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the Practice Manager and the support staff, including Front Desk team members and Medical Assistants, helping to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care!
Summary
Coordinates and oversees day to day operation outpatient practices. Supervise clinical support staff, including all applicable human resource processes and practice operational duties.

Essential Functions
-Responsible for recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training and developing support staff.
-Provides day to day supervision and direction to support staff.
-Assigns work and monitors performance.
-Monitors/coordinates managed care/billing function including referral process, insurance verification, registration, cash collection, encounter forms and billing
-Participates in the assessment and management of operational functions including patient scheduling, wait times, staff coverage, ancillary tests and follow up appointments, phone systems, transcription services and volume issues.
-Oversees purchase orders, petty cash and check requests.
-Maintains and orders office supplies and equipment.

Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
