Registered Nurse – First Assist (RNFA), Templeton, California. This travel, temporary assignment begins June 15, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,913 to $2,961. Shift is days, 10-hour daytime shifts across four days per week (40 hours). The role supports perioperative care with the operating surgeon under established policies and standards; RNFA duties extend nursing practice during the surgical experience and require responsible collaboration with the perioperative team.

Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate professional nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from preoperative through postoperative phases.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care; function as an RNFA with leadership and professional accountability.
- Adhere to established Standards of Nursing Practice and Tenet Standards of Conduct; document care accurately and maintain patient safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license (California) or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Willingness to perform perioperative nursing duties in the RNFA role under surgeon direction.
- Ability to work daytime, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week).
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment and ability to meet assignment requirements.
- Adequate communication and teamwork skills to support perioperative services and patient care.
