Nanny– Teaneck, NJ

A family in Teaneck, NJ 07666 is seeking an experienced and compassionate full time nanny for their newborn and part time care for their 3 older children. The family needs a nanny to start in early June.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday
• 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm
• Family has some flexibility in the schedule

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Primary Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is caring for our baby (born in Late May 2026)
• Provide attentive, loving, and safe care
• Engage in age-appropriate activities (reading, talking, playing, developmental activities)
• Maintain a consistent daily routine (feeding, naps, etc.)
• Be fully present and engaged (minimal phone use while the child is awake, except for urgent matters)
• Monitor and support the child’s overall well-being and development
• Pick up a 6-year-old child from the bus stop at approximately 4:00 PM. Two older children (ages 10, 13) will typically arrive home around or after 5:00 PM and will have minimal interaction during work day

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Tidy and organize child-related areas, including clothes and supplies
• Wash bottles and child-related dishes
• Assist with light household tasks, such as folding laundry

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certified
• 1+ years childcare experience
• The family is a Kosher family and asks that no outside food be brought in. Family is happy to supply foods for nanny in their home

Compensation:

• $24-$29/hour (For a candidate with experience and the right fit, family can be a bit flexible)
• On the books pay
• Two (2) weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week, family chooses one week)
• Paid major federal holidays
• Three (3) paid personal/sick days
• Overtime paid at 1.5× hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per week
