Northside ISD is a small rural 1A district located just 5 miles north of Vernon on the Oklahoma border, serving approximately 235 students. The district offers a four-day school week (Monday�Thursday), competitive pay, and is currently in its TIA application year, with plans to provide teacher designations beginning in the 2027�2028 school year.

Job Summary:
The Instructional Aide supports teachers in creating a positive and effective learning environment for students. This role assists with classroom management, instructional activities, and student supervision to enhance the educational experience for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support to students under the guidance of a certified teacher.
- Assist with preparation of classroom materials, learning centers, and technology resources.
- Support individual and small group instruction to reinforce learning objectives.
- Monitor students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, playgrounds, and during transitions.
- Help maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Perform clerical duties related to instruction and classroom organization.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to support student success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and staff.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Must meet state and federal requirements for paraprofessionals.
