Experience Level: 5–6+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem
Department: Enterprise Applications / Operations & Logistics
Role Definition
The Salesforce Functional Application Analyst for Order Fulfillment & Integrations serves as the functional lead responsible for translating high-level solution designs into detailed, scalable, and executable functional specifications across the order-to-fulfillment lifecycle.
This role ensures seamless coordination between Salesforce platforms and downstream fulfillment systems, enabling accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of products and services. Acting as a key liaison across CRM, Order Management, and Fulfillment platforms, you will ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, technically feasible, and aligned with enterprise architecture, operational processes, and customer experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Application Design & Functional Analysis
Orchestration Ownership: Own and manage the end-to-end functional design for order fulfillment processes across Salesforce Order Management (SOM) and related platforms.
Workflow Definition: Define order workflows, orchestration paths, and routing logic to downstream fulfillment systems.
Scalable Delivery: Support the design of resilient solutions covering physical goods, digital fulfillment, and service provisioning.
🔄 Fulfillment Systems Engagement & Data Integration
System Liaison: Act as the primary functional bridge between Salesforce and downstream systems like ERPs, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and provisioning platforms.
Interface & Data Mapping: Provide clear interface definitions, process flows, and data mappings to fulfillment teams, ensuring systems support required order states, exception handling, and SLAs.
Integration Coordination: Define and support data flows (order submission, status updates, completion events) collaborating with integration teams on API, event-driven, and batch approaches.
📋 Requirements Translation & Delivery Support
Agile Execution: Convert epics and business requirements into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria across Salesforce and downstream fulfillment systems.
Sprint Engagement: Partner with Product Owners, Integration Teams, and Fulfillment SMEs to support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and functional clarifications using Jira and Confluence.
👥 Stakeholder Collaboration & Production Support
Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the primary functional point of contact between Domain Owners, Solution Architects, Fulfillment Teams, and Delivery Leads across multiple time zones.
Tier 2/3 Support: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, troubleshooting order routing bottlenecks, fulfillment failures, and status synchronization issues.
Process Optimization: Monitor order throughput, failure rates, and SLA adherence to continuously optimize workflow performance.
What You Bring to the Team
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Salesforce Experience: 5–6+ years within the Salesforce ecosystem, with direct exposure to Salesforce Order Management (SOM) and CRM platforms.

Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of REST APIs; familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage.
Global Collaboration: Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones using Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise ERP, warehouse management, and logistics systems.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time order orchestration.
Experience managing complex fulfillment scenarios (e.g., partial shipments, backorders, split-shipments, digital provisioning).
Experience operating in high-volume, enterprise-scale order processing environments.
Key Competencies:
Analytical Problem Solver: Driven by data and detail, with a focus on system reliability, accuracy, and enterprise scalability.
Strategic Communicator: Outstanding stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the communication gap between business logistics and technical engineering teams.
Agile Professional: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional agile framework.
Governance & Best Practices
