As a Senior Business Controller, you will act as a key finance business partner to Production and Supply Chain functions, driving financial insights, process improvements, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
You will play a critical role in strengthening advanced analytics, automation, and financial governance within the Controlling team.
Key responsibilities:
Act as a finance business partner for operational stakeholders, supporting decision-making with high-quality financial analysis
Drive financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning) and monitor performance vs. targets
Analyze financial results, cost structures (COGS), and operational KPIs, identifying trends and recommending improvements
Lead advanced analysis and business case preparation for strategic initiatives and investments
Ensure transparency and control over inventory, provisions, and product costing processes
Drive automation of controlling processes and reporting (Power BI / dashboards / DWH)
Define and improve reporting standards and financial processes across the organization
Support month-end close and financial governance in cooperation with Accounting
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Controlling team
Your profile:
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
5+ years of experience in Business/Finance Controlling, ideally in a production/manufacturing environment
Strong experience in:
Financial analysis & reporting
Budgeting, forecasting & planning
Cost controlling and inventory analysis
Advanced skills in Excel,
Experience with Power BI, and data analytics tools
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365 / AX) and data extraction
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive decisions
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
Fluent English
