Reports To: Operations Manager/ Director of Traffic Control
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Kennesaw, Georgia (Hybrid)
Position Summary
The Permit Administrator is responsible for managing, submitting, tracking, and maintaining all permits related to traffic control, lane closures, right-of-way access, and traffic control plans. This role coordinates with internal teams, municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and clients to ensure compliance and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Permitting & Compliance
- Prepare, submit, and track all traffic control and right-of-way permits
- Monitor permit expirations, renewals, and revisions
Coordination & Communication
- Act as liaison between municipalities, DOTs, utilities, and internal teams
- Communicate permit status, risks, and delays proactively
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate digital permit records
- Track permit fees and support audits
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- 3+ years' experience using Project Management applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in traffic control or civil infrastructure
- 2+ years experience in permitting, traffic control, or construction administration
- Proficient with HubSpot CRM
