Job Description
Coke Florida is looking for a Planner based out of our Orlando location. We’re currently looking for first shift, working Monday through Friday working from 8:30AM-5PM.
What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Planner, you will be responsible for creating strategic and tactical production plans to maintain proper inventory levels for multiple distribution centers across Florida.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Transportation, Field Leaders, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Lifecycle, Sales, Warehouse Operations, HR, and other functions to effectively and efficiently serve our customers in accordance to Coke Florida Principles
Analyze and interpret various data sources to enable a well-designed effective service model
Drive consistent improvements to service standards across multiple operations by providing key insights on systematic and business understanding which is gained through a collaborative approach with team members and customers
Ambitious desire to drive savings through wise decisions based on holistic business needs
Comprehend, address, and provide solutions to business challenges through information systems
Cross functional comprehension in manufacturing and transportation planning; short-term and long-term strategy development
Manage vendors’ brands that have various lead times to maintain proper inventory levels
Report on close dated inventory and work to reduce Breakage Damage and Loss (BDL) due to product age
Complete and follow through on all other assigned work
For this role, you will need:
BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business or Logistics Management
Thorough understanding of lean inventory methods and continuous improvement ideologies
Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts to drive corrective action
Demonstrated initiative and follow up skills; capable of handling simultaneous responsibilities and deadlines with minimal guidance
Interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
Strong verbal, written, comprehension, and communication skills
Aptitude for technology; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP/JDA
Desire to learn and apply new concepts, software, etc.
Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:
Minimum 3 years of supply chain, manufacturing, or ERP experience
Lean Six Sigma certified preferred
