What We’re Looking For:
Santé is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Peer Support Specialist to join our frontline Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) team. In this role, you will work as part of a two-person response team alongside a clinician to provide immediate crisis stabilization services to youth and their caregivers within the community.
This position plays a critical role in supporting families during behavioral health crises, helping to de-escalate situations, and ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with community partners.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with a clinician to respond to community-based crisis calls involving youth and caregivers
Promote health, self-direction, and skill development for youth and families
Support the development of individualized goals focused on long-term stabilization
Provide education on available resources, including:
Community services
Peer support programs
Support groups and networks
Serve as an advocate for youth and caregivers, ensuring their voices are heard and respected
Assist in wraparound planning and the development of crisis and family-driven service plans
Facilitate smooth transitions (“warm hand-offs”) to ongoing services and supports
Participate in community stakeholder meetings related to the care of involved youth
What We Require:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of personal lived experience caring for your own child or a child you have guardianship over in your home.
Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within a one (1) year of employment (Sante will pay for your certification if you do not have it at the time of hire).
Three (3) years personal lived experience caring for a child with behavior dysregulation, a mental health diagnosis, or dealing with a co-occurring disorder.
Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
What You’ll Get:
Salary Range:
- Uncertified: $17.75-20.50 per hour
- Certified: $20.50-$24.50 per hour
