
Test Rack Coordinator (Crew 1 Sun/Wed 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Summary: Assist with the coordination of daily end-of-line testing activities. Track units moving from production into the testing area and ensure efficient flow through test racks. Coordinate with production teams regarding rework or repairs and help maintain minimal downtime between tests. Support decision-making on unit placement across test racks to optimize throughput.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of units going into and out of the testing areas.
- Coordinate with production leads when non-conforming units need additional support from manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate records of units received from production and units currently in the testing area on a daily basis.
- Ensure units are staged in the most efficient and organized manner to support continuous testing operations.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to help meet daily production targets.
- Coordinate and assign units to appropriate test racks based on priority, availability, and testing requirements.
- Provide regular updates to management on testing progress, delays, and overall status.
- Ensure testing supplies such as stickers and electrical terminals are kept in stock at each testing station.
- Assist with coordination on ordering parts when needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and production management software and systems.
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language.
Work Environment:
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time during shift.
- Required to wear proper personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic.
- This position is designated as a safety-sensitive job and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.
