
Field Service Supervisor
Job Description
Overview Responsibilities Responsibilities include service financial performance, field service team development and supervision, support of the acquisition process, and customer maintenance and growth. The Field Service Supervisor II owns service operations with direct responsibility for service execution while leading a team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives within a given time frame, with available resources, according to customer rules of engagement. Responsible for the coordination of performance, qualify of all work and Customer Satisfaction for assigned stores. Responsible for the coordination of all maintenance operations for assigned stores/facilities with the Store COR, FE or CO, as appropriate. Work in conjunction with the Program Manager to oversee project budgets, maintain adherence to forecasts and identify possible cost savings opportunities and/or risks. Responsible for the schedules at assigned contract locations regarding revisions and assignments to best meet the terms of the contracts and fulfill the customer’s needs. Conducts performance appraisals along with other service supervisory personnel to recommend merit increases, promotions, training and disciplinary action for team members. Responsible for assistance in recruiting, interviewing and building a strong team through onboarding and coaching of new service team employees. Coordination of subcontractors in the assigned areas to ensure successful completion of the projects including verification of scope of work and acceptance of the customer. Responsible for bidding/collection and review process for additional work including development and presentation of quotes, verification of necessary work and its completion. Responsible for driving adherence to all work safety policies and procedures among the team. Additional duties as necessary to maintain a productive Service department and organization. Qualifications FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Required Level: High School Preferred level: Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: 3-5 years Experience to include management level, as well as technical HVAC-Refrigeration knowledge. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position includes, but is not limited to the following: Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professionall journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends when necessary. Must be able to travel both by air and auto on a regular basis Must have excellent communication skills and professional disposition for customer interface. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to rent automobiles as necessary. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to walk, sit and climb stairs and ladders.
