The Opportunity:
As a Snack Bar Lead, you will work under indirect supervision to oversee ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control, and security. In this role, you will assist, lead, and direct student employees to ensure efficient and courteous service, while maintaining the quality and proper portioning of food. You will help ensure that all safety and sanitation procedures are consistently followed and will operate light powered equipment as needed.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,336 to $4,428 | Range 37 Steps A - M| Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Possession of food handler’s permit AND two years of experience in food service work, including one year of lead experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Food Handler’s Permit within 14 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two to five years retail experience.
Experience leading and training employees.
Knowledge of cash handling and bank card procedures.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices, policies, procedures.
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
Experience in planning, prioritizing and assigning tasks.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, co-workers and constituents.
Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
