- Developing division IT governance and implementing best practices to transform and modernize existing and future development efforts.
- Provide mock-ups for system architecture and IT governance using various software.
- Interpret technology governance and communicate significance to non-technical stakeholders; provide technical input as needed.
- Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure organization strategies are aligned with the overall strategy and market conditions.
- Assists in the problem management process to identify root cause analysis and resolution; deploys resolutions to all affected program office, personnel profiles, and accounts.
What We Need From You (Required):
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust
- 5+ total years experience; min. 2+ years working in an Agile development environment in product/software delivery organizations (e.g. Scrum, Lean Agile, XP, Kanban and other Agile development techniques).
- Salesforce product knowledge and a minimum of 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
- Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java.
- General web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices.
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
- Experience working with large data sets and bulk input.
Strong ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services).
- Federal consulting experience; experience supporting DHS is a strong plus.
- Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I.
- Strong customer engagement skills, comfortable communicating with product owner and ability to manage the client relationship and expectations.
- Ability to communicate with technical team members to translate requirements into technical terminology.
- Ability to facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Experience with developing professional briefing materials to convey analysis using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint and Visio).
- Possession of excellent business consulting skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) required.
