Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a skilled Carpenter.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
• Carrying out repair, installation, and maintenance of wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Assisting with the upkeep of doors, windows, partitions, flooring, and other wooden surfaces.
• Designing, constructing, and assembling custom furniture or fittings as required by the hotel.
• Ensuring timely response to guest room and public area maintenance requests.
• Working closely with the Engineering and Maintenance team to support general repair tasks.
• Following health, safety, and hotel standards while carrying out all carpentry works.
• Maintaining an organized workshop and inventory of carpentry tools and materials.
Requirements for the role:
- Diploma in Joinery & Furniture Making or equivalent
- Having a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
