Job Description

· Technical support for site activities (construction, installation, testing, and commissioning) from an engineering/design perspective. Represent the engineering department on site · Control and communicate design changes based on site conditions · Provide timely, clear, and comprehensive technical answers to RFIs on-site in coordination with the responsible engineers in the office · Prepare engineering/design sketches or details to support site activities in coordination with engineering teams in the office · Prepare shop drawings activities in coordination with engineering teams in the office · Control the release of IFC drawings/documents based on site conditions · Integrate and control Red-marked As-built drawings/documents and provide necessary support for the engineering team to prepare the final As-built version for all engineering deliverables to the site based on red-marked drawings from the construction team · Review and approve sub-contractors’ material submittal · Ensure consistency between design and execution on site · Highlight scope and/or design changes (data for claims) |
Participate and provide necessary input to build and enrich the company's lesson learned and knowledge database

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills · Ability to influence others · Effective problem identification and solutions skills · Strong background in the interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications · Ability to interpret most current design codes · Strong experience in engineering and design of infrastructure (Pipe lines, Crossings, Valve chamber, etc..) on an EPC contract basis · Strong knowledge and ability to use engineering software to support site activities · Project-oriented mindset · Availability to accept assignments on site · Related Field Experience: 3 to 5 years. · BSc degree Civil Engineering. |
