Description:

St. Peter's Hospital - Full Time - Day Shift
St. Peter’s Hospital is seeking a qualified Plumber/Welder responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of key hospital infrastructure systems. This role supports critical operations across sanitary, steam, potable water, storm water, condensate return, and fire protection systems. The position will also coordinate project work with external contractors to ensure safe and efficient completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair hospital plumbing systems, including:
    • Sanitary and storm systems
    • Steam and condensate return systems
    • Potable water systems
    • Fire protection systems
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a healthcare environment
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
  • Coordinate and oversee project work with contractors
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical certification in plumbing or a related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of commercial plumbing experience required
  • Experience working in complex facilities (healthcare preferred) is a plus

Pay Range:

$22.25 - 27.42

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
