YOUR ROLE
Responsible for generating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) through the analysis of demand, sales forecasts, and outstanding demand from different finished product customers, considering current and future installed capacity, available days, and projecting optimal inventory levels and future demand forecasts in order to manage resources such as workforce, machinery/equipment, and materials.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Download the demand received in the MRP system at the finished goods level from different customers and distribute it to cross-functional teams for their information, classified by family once a week, preferably on Mondays.
- Oversee the analysis of the demand downloaded from the MRP system, optimizing volume when necessary, such as distributing monthly demand, completing demand when there are errors, or when demand is not properly received from the customer, every Tuesday before 10:00 AM.
- Ensure that the customer-facing team takes action on major positive and negative demand fluctuations to prevent shipment interruptions, excess inventory, or obsolescence.
- Develop the weekly sales forecast for months M1+3, considering constraints such as material, capacity, labor, and time, every Tuesday before 3:00 PM.
- Present the weekly M1+3 sales forecast at the managerial level, showing macro-level variations versus the previous week, along with identified risks and opportunities, every Tuesday before 5:00 PM.
- Present the weekly M1+3 sales forecast at the global level, showing macro-level variations versus the previous week, along with identified risks and opportunities, every Wednesday before 10:00 AM.
- Provide support and follow-up on SIOP forecaster activities.
- Establish production planning strategies considering the impact on finished goods inventory levels, while taking into account capacity and raw material constraints.
- Ensure that the production plan for each finished product is properly uploaded into the MRP system and the D1 interface every Wednesday before 7:00 PM.
- Track daily finished goods sales and communicate this information to cross-functional teams.
- Establish action plans to ensure sales targets are met according to the monthly forecast.
- Promote proper usage and data processes in the D1 interface across different volume types: CUSTOMER ORDERS, DEMAND, SALES INPUT, PRODUCTION PLAN, SHIPMENT PLAN, and REVENUE.
- Escalate to the global level any improvement opportunities identified in the use of the D1 interface to maximize its effectiveness for local users.
- Provide short-term sales, demand, and production forecasts M1+3 (optimized customer demand) and long-term forecasts M5 to M24 (sales volume at finished goods level by family), monthly—preferably during the third week of the month.
- Prepare, collect, and organize information for the SIOP DECK to be presented at the global level, including input from cross-functional teams such as Finance, Industrial Engineering, Materials Control, and Human Resources.
- Present the SIOP DECK in the monthly global meeting, during the first week of the month.
- Read, analyze, and respond to emails related to job responsibilities.
- Provide support in the development, analysis, and definition of the production plan for selected product families to ensure proper demand forecast communication to external and internal suppliers.
- Respond to emails regarding issues, questions, or improvement opportunities related to variations in the production plan for finished goods sent through MRP to external and internal suppliers.
- Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Energy Management requirements, and report any situation that may have an impact.
- Participate in Near Miss and Kaizen programs.
- Comply with the training program assigned to the role.
- Maintain ethical and professional conduct in all work-related activities.
- Comply with Internal Work Regulations and plant policies.
- Meet customer requirements to ensure a 100% quality product.
- Fulfill responsibilities and duties assigned according to organizational changes and/or current company needs.

- Bachelor’s degree completed (any field).
- Preferably knowledge of SAP and EDI.
- Leadership and/or emotional intelligence training preferred.
- English proficiency (written and spoken) at 80%.
