Summary/Objective
Deputy Program Execution Lead, Nuclear Strategy and Strategic Readiness Workshop
plays a critical role in the successful preparation, delivery and ongoing development of the Nuclear Strategy Workshop. This individual serves as the principal support and execution integrator to the Program Execution Lead. This individual ensures operational redundancy, execution continuity, risk mitigation and seamless delivery of all workshop activities. The Deputy provides depth in execution management, documentation, coordination and practitioner oversight while maintaining the ability to assume full leadership responsibilities, if required.
Essential Functions
· Execution Continuity and Redundancy • Serve as second-in-command for all workshop execution activities. • Assume on-camera and facilitation responsibilities, as required. • Step into Run-of-Show Lead responsibilities, if required. • Maintain full situational awareness of schedule, speakers, practitioners and technical posture. This role ensures zero single-point-of-failure risk during execution.
· Operational Control and Technical Oversight • Operate and manage virtual classroom instruction, ensuring smooth technical operation throughout. • Serve as backup technical support during sessions and troubleshoot any virtual learning issues.
- Oversees live execution monitoring during sessions.
- Tracks time discipline and agenda adherence.
- Coordinates tech checks and contingency procedures.
- Manages participant roster tracking and attendance compliance.
- Oversees NDA status and onboarding verification.
The Deputy ensures operational precision behind the scenes.
- Distinguished Visitor (DV) and Executive Support
- Coordinate green room timing and transitions.
- Track executive arrival windows.
- Manage cueing and timing for DV integration.
- Ensure smooth transition between segments.
- Provide last-minute briefing updates to Program Execution Lead as required.
This role functions as execution coordination for senior engagements.
- Project Management
- Capture key discussion insights in real time.
- Track action items and decision points.
- Support Capstone documentation.
- Consolidate survey data and practitioner feedback.
- Assist in drafting hotwash summaries and improvement plans.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation such as timelines, client parameters and meeting notes that include decisions and discussions from stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in crafting deliverables to the government and ensuring contract suspenses are met.
The Deputy ensures institutional knowledge is captured, structured and actionable.
- Workshop Content Management
- Maintain in a central location and organize Workshop folders for consistency and accuracy.
- Contribute to Workshop development and updates in coordination with staff and stakeholders.
- Provides social media content and website updates to the Director for consideration by Strategic Communications.
- Stakeholder Interface
- Serve as a liaison with the government for coordination of class attendees and workshop reporting instructions.
- Communicate effectively with practitioners, government leadership and internal partners to ensure alignment on Workshop delivery.
Required Qualifications (Specialist Category)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 10-15 years of experience in the workforce.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience in education, instruction or related fields.
- Experience in leading diverse teams.
- Proficiency with virtual learning tools and programs.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comfortable and effective in a remote work environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot some basic technical issues with virtual learning platforms.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and administrative
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Military Leaders, staff personnel and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications (Lead / Senior Categories)
- Advanced degree.
- Experience leading teams or managing complex programs.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and learner-centered facilitation techniques.

- Occasionally as customer requirements demand at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Expected on site presence is approximately 14 business days per calendar year.
