How will you make an impact in this role?
This role is a critical leadership position within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG), responsible for managing high‑volume, high‑value, and regulated benefits operations across Mexico.
The position oversees the daily administration and end‑to‑end operations of multiple colleague benefit programs, including major medical insurance, life insurance, a pension plan, savings programs, meal and grocery vouchers, fleet operations, and other benefits. The role manages both internally administered and vendor‑managed benefits and will play a key role in the 2026 proyect pension modernization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning end‑to‑end operations for complex, regulated benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and a positive colleague experience.
- Overseeing strategic relationships with key vendors, including service escalations, operational performance, and change management agreements.
- Conducting ongoing due diligence and control reviews to ensure benefit administration complies with legal requirements, internal policies, and risk standards.
- Managing benefit operations for Savings Box, Grocery and Meal Vouchers, including correct bi‑weekly payments and benefit terminations on vendor platforms.
- Acting as a first‑line control owner, audit point of contact, and PRSA tester, supporting both internal and external audits in Mexico.
- Supporting the annual actuarial valuation process for the pension plan in coordination with actuarial partners.
- Leading vendor governance and Third‑Party Risk Management (TRM) activities, including onboarding, monitoring, and offboarding of third parties.
Ensuring the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of SOPs, operational guides, and servicing documentation, driving standardization and knowledge retention.
This role is critical to business continuity, risk mitigation, and safeguarding the colleague experience through strong operational execution and governance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience leading or managing benefits operations, payroll, servicing, finance, or compliance‑related functions.
- Experience supporting pension plans.
- Demonstrated experience managing high‑volume and high‑value operational processes in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage and influence external vendors and multiple internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting insurance programs, or complex colleague benefits.
- Prior experience acting as an audit point of contact or PRSA tester.
- Experience with vendor transitions or large‑scale operational change initiatives.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, or benefits administration platforms.
- Experience working in a regional or multi‑country environment.
