Crane Operator

The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead electric cranes to support steelmaking, production, and maintenance activities. This role involves inspecting crane equipment before each use, coordinating lifts with ground personnel, and ensuring all loads are moved safely while following strict safety procedures. The operator documents equipment conditions, assists with additional duties as needed, and works rotating shifts in a demanding industrial environment where safety, communication, and mechanical aptitude are critical to success.
