Job Description
RPS Project Manager
The RPS Project Manager is the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers regarding projects and technical proposals. Manages, directs, and executes technical projects both internally at RPS and for external customers while ensuring compliance with various quality program requirements and technical specifications. Oversees the full life cycle of technical projects, from conception to delivery and installation. Supports and adjusts existing product lines as needed.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
-Vendor/supplier coordination
-Internal management with stakeholders and scheduling project needs
-Cost/finance management to track project deliverables to ensure proper payment and labor tracking
Min 4 years' experience, no certification requirement but PMP is preferred
Experience with multimillion dollar budget management and 30% of the design work here will lead to large-scale projects
Travel will consist of trips to Groton, CT to get to know their process and team; in addition to drop offs to customers and vendor site visits (across the US with many locations on the East Coast)
Preference for Manufacturing background or DOE
This team uses Quickbase PM tooling and will also be using SAGE
This person will be expected to work cross-functionally with office safety for day-to-day operations with John Kremer RPS GM/VP and engineering team, production staff on manufacturing line and quality team
