Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is the lead innovator for the new battery development group of the site.  This individual will work in a fast pace environment enjoying the satisfaction of seeing their ideas become reality from concept stage, design and validation, and eventual transition of new batteries into production.  This is a hand-on role that will allow you to shape the details of a battery design every step of the way as you serve both as the technical lead and overall project manager interacting with suppliers, internal groups, and customers during the development phase of a new project.  With a fully operational test lab and prototype shop in house, you’ll be able to test and validate your ideas as you create prototypes and while you work to help...
