PURPOSE STATEMENT

JOB SUMMARY

Program Duration: 12–14 Months

The Sales Development Representative position is part of Game One’s Sales Development Program, a highly selective and structured initiative designed to prepare high-potential individuals for a successful career in outside sales. Each year, we welcome 12–18 candidates to participate in a multi-phase training experience, offering real-world exposure, mentorship, and a pathway to a permanent sales role.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Phase 1: Order Entry Representative

Duration: 4 Months
Responsibilities:

  • Process and support sales orders for assigned regions
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Game One products, sales systems, and internal workflows
  • Collaborate with Regional Account Managers for order accuracy and fulfillment

Training Focus:

  • Sales order processing and systems
  • CRM and platform usage
  • Product and catalog knowledge

Phase 2: Rotational Account Manager

Duration: 4 Months
Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Assist in resolving customer service issues
  • Contribute to regional sales campaigns and initiatives

Training Focus:

  • Account and relationship management
  • Troubleshooting and service resolution
  • Exposure to the full B2B sales cycle

 Phase 3: Outside Sales Shadowing

Duration: 4–6 Months
Responsibilities:

  • Shadow an experienced Outside Sales Representative
  • Support field sales activities in an assigned territory
  • Assist with prospecting, lead generation, and client presentations

Training Focus:

  • Field sales execution
  • Territory development and management
  • Active selling and closing strategies

Post Program Placement 

Upon successful completion of all program phases, Sales Development Representative may be:

  • Placed into an open, existing sales territory
  • Assigned to develop a new market region
  • Transitioned early into a full-time sales role based on organizational needs

Relocation Requirement: Candidates must be willing to relocate post-program based on business needs, open territories, and alignment with regional sales leadership.

  • Recent graduates or early-career professionals with degrees or experience in Sales, Business, or Marketing
  • Highly motivated and adaptable with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales environment
  • Effective communicators with a customer-first mindset
  • Open to relocation and exploring new markets
