Clow Valve- Brass General Laborer

Clow Valve's Metal Casting Facility has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Brass General Laborer

3rd Shift Hours: 7pm-5:30am

Starting Wage: $23.93

Health Insurance available after 60 days

$500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period complete. 

Responsibilities of a Brass Utility include but are not limited to:

• Set up stationary/portable Hi-Vac system
• Attend to furnace operations
• Clean excess sand spillage
• Clean up of tools and area
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Heavy lifting/carrying greater than 50 lbs.
• Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.
• Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
• Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
• Ability to work in extreme heat.
• Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery including ladle, crane, and forklift.
• Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection
