The Triage Nurse (RN) at Caring Health Center (CHC) is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, supporting urgent care providers by assessing patient needs through telephonic or in-person triage consultations to determine the appropriate level of care, whether emergency treatment, a scheduled appointment, or home management. They use evidence-based practices to guide clinical decisions, evaluate symptoms, provide education, coordinate care with patients, families, and providers, and consult with providers when necessary. This role requires flexibility in adapting to shifting daily responsibilities, active participation in quality improvement initiatives, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
