JOB MISSION:
New Balance is looking for a highly motivated Team Sales – SOCCER, Sales Specialist to authentically engage with the Soccer community, driving market share in performance apparel, footwear, uniforms, and equipment. This role is responsible for outfitting the Soccer retail base, athlete, Club, organization and supporters, toe-to-shoulder in best-in-industry performance products.
This role demands full category integration, including but not limited to in-person/digital retail account meetings & management, industry summits, attendance at key category events, product tech sessions, regional and local grassroots activations, and evening/weekend team events. This position is physically located in southern California and covering the territories listed below.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Drive product awareness and execute sales (awareness to delivery) – increasing the market share and mind share of NB Soccer and multisport.
Responsible for product and sales forecasting to ensure goals are attained and inventory is managed appropriately.
Ability to work cross functionally with sales organization and internal partners.
Provide ‘white glove service’ to dealers, assuring New Balance is a trusted and reliable partner.
Establish creditable relationships with accounts at every level (Retail, club, rec scholastic, collegiate).
Monitor market comps and provide relevant feedback to NB product/category team to assure progressive attack on the market.
Deliver all sales tools, programs, product tech and additional resources to dealer partners - ensuring successful seasonal sell-in and sell-through.
Build Regional plan and prioritize business opportunities, measuring activity and growth of overall sales in Sales Force.com.
Ability to achieve annual sales targets.
Attend NB regional and national meetings, as well as dealer and industry trade shows, local and regional events.
Remain active at the grassroots level – assuring you’re an authoritative, respected, individual in the soccer community.
Significant administrative work to include order entry and uniform design requirements for retailers and club partners.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Five years of sales experience in Soccer, preferably in a team sports environment with multi-sport experience.
Key soccer category management experience.
Is a former or current sales associate.
Can thrive in a home office environment.
Possess computer skills including Microsoft Office/Teams and Sales Force.com.
Can execute presentations with excitement and sincerity.
Possess project management skills.
Has the flexibility to travel frequently – Up to 40%-50%.
Understands regular nights and weekends are required.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
