Staff Archaeologist, Environmental: Halff is seeking a qualified Staff Archaeologist, based out of one of our Austin offices, to join our talented team of cultural resources professionals. The ideal candidate would bring at least two years of experience performing archaeological surveys with shovel testing in Texas. Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field required. Ability to identify basic cultural materials (e.g., lithics, ceramics, historic artifacts). Willingness to travel and stay overnight for fieldwork, as needed. Technical writing experience and familiarity with ArcGIS Pro are not required but will strengthen a candidate’s application; however, demonstrated willingness to develop both skill sets is essential. Basic computer skills.
