Responsibilities for Operations Coordinator

    • Scheduling & Fleet Coordination: Build, optimize, and maintain daily or weekly shift schedules; handle short-notice call-outs and vacancy coverage to eliminate service gaps; monitor operational assets or fleet logistics where applicable.
    • Compliance & Training Tracking: Monitor, track, and log staff certifications, mandatory onboarding modules, and regulatory compliance metrics to ensure 100% audit readiness.
    • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate personnel records, assist with the preparation of operational directives or memos, and manage data entry across company payroll or scheduling software.
    • Internal Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact between field staff, site supervisors, and branch management to ensure policy changes and operational updates are communicated instantly.
    • Quality Assurance & Reporting: Generate regular performance reports, assist in investigating service or client issues, and help draft corrective action plans or site directives when

Qualifications for Operations Coordinator

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent 

  • 1-2 years of security experience 
  • Have a good command of  English

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule  

  • Knowledge of Office Suite
  • Be eligible to work in Canada 

  • Valid First Aid

  • Class 5 License with a clear abstract
  • Experience in Mobile Department would be an asset

  • Must be eligible to obtain a NS Security License
