About the Role
The MRP Planner works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand across multiple time horizons into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.
As a MRP Planner, you will be responsible for:
Working with internal teams to convert the demand plans into physical orders.
Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
Analyzing incoming materials needs, identifying order exceptions, misalignments with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
Performing material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
Implementing inventory stocking strategies
Working to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
Understanding business trends, opportunities and how they impact the material planning process
Assisting in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
Have a bachelor's OR associate's degree (or in progress) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering OR related field; technical certification might also be considered based on the relevance of the field to the job responsibilities fulfillment AND in combination with practical experience.
Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
Have experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
Have basic understanding of MRP functionality
Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders

Working from our Niterói office, in Rio de Janeiro, from 1am-4pm OR 8am-5pm
Home office 1x/week, in alignment with leadership and project workload.
