Seasonal Mosquito Light Trap Runner (Part-Time)

Clarke of Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a seasonal, Part-Time Mosquito Light Trap Runner to travel to local communities and collect mosquito trap samples. The population and species data collected will be used to predict mosquito activity and guide treatment decisions. No experience is required, training will be provided. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable working independently, and has strong attention to detail and communication skills. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY

• Starting at $16/hr
• Monday, Wednesday, & Friday; between 5:00am and 11:00am (end time depends on workload)
• Part-time seasonal position (generally May THROUGH end of September)
• Use of personal vehicle is required, and a 0.72.5 cent mileage reimbursement will be provided

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LIGHT TRAP RUNNER

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Must own or have access to an insured and reliable vehicle
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
• Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
• Attention to minute detail to sort insect collections
• Ability to operate smartphones and apps
• Must be able to work through the end of our season (September/October; route & weather dependent)
