Ever see a $70,000,000 check? AGDATA is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Channel & Marketing Activation team and help shape our next generation’s capabilities for Program Creation & Fulfilment. In this role, you will work at the intersection of client needs, operational scale, and product strategy, partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and customer-facing teams. You bring structure to ambiguity, advocate for both users and the business, and translate complex needs into clear, actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Delivery:

  • Own roadmap initiatives from definition through delivery, including enhancements, defects, and enablement, while aligning execution to the broader product vision.
  • Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that clearly capture user needs, business value, assumptions, and scope.
  • Prioritize the backlog to maximize business value while balancing roadmap goals, client commitments, technical constraints, and delivery risk.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to turn solution strategy into clear priorities and delivery plans.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations, and customer-facing teams to reduce ambiguity, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
  • Lead refinement sessions to ensure Engineering understands scope, intent, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support validation, defect triage, and release readiness to help ensure quality delivery and smooth handoff into production and support.

Design Thinking:

  • Gather user feedback and usage insights to inform prioritization and improve adoption.
  • Conduct workshops, current-state analysis, and workflow mapping to identify pain points and validate opportunities.
  • Partner with Design, Architecture, and Engineering to validate workflows, prototypes, and future-state solutions before development begins.

Go to Market & Client Funded work

  • When customers fund roadmap work to accelerate priority, partner with customers, Solutions Architects, Engagement Managers, Sales, and Product Management to clarify requirements, align acceptance criteria, and support execution.
  • Lead or support client discovery conversations, helping customers understand tradeoffs and guiding them toward scalable, platform-aligned solutions.
  • Support internal and external enablement for new features, including demonstrations, training, early access programs, and customer support readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally on release planning, deployment readiness, change management, and customer communications.
  • Document repeatable processes, templates, and handoff artifacts that help Operations and delivery teams work with less dependency on Product.
  • Track product performance across adoption, stability, support trends, and business impact.
  • Use customer feedback, support trends, operational insights, and delivery learnings to continuously improve product quality and priorities.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Translating requirements from internal stakeholders and enterprise clients into delivery-ready artifacts.
  • Supporting migrations to new technologies or platform-aligned solutions.
  • Documenting repeatable processes, templates, or operational playbooks that improve scale and reduce manual dependency.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a similar role supporting software delivery
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and backlog-driven delivery.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex, data-driven platforms and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with confidence engaging enterprise customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance roadmap delivery, support needs, operational work, and new opportunities.
  • Strong requirements, story-writing, and acceptance-criteria discipline with high attention to detail.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and creating clarity for teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to use examples, process flows, or prototypes to clarify logic and build shared understanding.
  • Curious, collaborative, and outcome-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

What Success Looks Like

  • Stakeholders trust you to bring clarity, direction, and follow-through to complex work.
  • Engineering receives well-prioritized, well-defined backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-functional teams stay aligned, dependencies are surfaced early, and delivery risks are actively managed.
  • Customers feel supported in discovery, early adopter programs, and solution discussions.
