Liberty Mutual has an immediate opening for an Environmental Claims Officer - a role ideal for claims professionals with significant experience handling complex environmental/pollution matters and/or mass litigation/toxic tort claims. The Environmental Claims Officer will handle a book of Commercial Specialty Lines Claims, throughout the entire claim's life cycle, and will be responsible for conducting investigations, recommending adequate reserves, monitoring, documenting, and settling/closing claims in an expeditious and economical manner within prescribed authority limits for the line of business.   There is a strong preference for the selected candidate to live within a 50-mile radius of one of the...
