The Lead Transporter assists in the supervision of Central Transport Service personnel. This position will ensure that all transportation duties and responsibilities are carried out in a prompt and courteous manner. This position will strive to maximize patient, family, physician and staff satisfaction.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school graduate
2. CPR certification
EXPERIENCE:
1. Six (6) months demonstrated leadership experience
2. Proficiency in computer skills required

1. Assist with managing all transport service employees regarding employment, performance rating, vacation, scheduling and termination
2. Assist in supervising accurate on-going collaborative planning for the Tele-Tracking System
3. Assist in supervising accurate on-going collaborative planning for the Tele-Tracking System
4. Assists the Transport Supervisor in retrieving reports, preparing monthly statistics
5. Participates in identifying issues, resolving problems, provides independent follow-up, investigate incidents
6. Transports patients throughout hospital as needed
