Distribution Center Trainee

Job Posting:

· Rotates between various departments learning all functions in the distribution center

· Acquires in-depth and a complete knowledge of the workflow within the distribution center.

· Follows a logical program from receipt of product in the DC, receipt of customer orders to the shipment of product to our customers.

· Will be required to answer specific questions about each functional area in the distribution center to ensure understanding of all processes.

· Works with Engineering and Distribution Management to develop knowledge of training principles, methods, and work measurement.

· Develops an understanding and firsthand knowledge of the different operations performed in the distribution center.

· Become familiar with policies and procedures within the distribution center

· Become familiar with Kontoor’s safety structure and policies

· Completes special projects as assigned by management

· Will be required to perform various warehouse processes during the training period and required to learn the expectations of all warehouse operations.

· Will be key personnel in implementation of new warehouse systems.

· Some travel required
