
Maintenance Tooling Technician (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
- Ensures appropriate monitoring and acheivement of the preventive maintenance program for production molds and tools.
- Ensures proper implementation of mold cleaning, cumplying at 100% check list cleaning molding.
- Plan the mold repairs according to internal and external customer requirements
- Cover tooling requirements on time and in the best conditions according the needs of production areas in the plant.
- Ensures and maintains the quality and good conditions of the tooling according to customer requirements (Coordinating the tooling repairs, components change, preventive maintenance and mold cleaning).
- Implement reaction plans if necessary and give a fast response to production about tooling issues.
- Application of the 5's within your workspace.
- Manages inventory levels of spare parts and secondary equipment with suppliers, purchasing and engineering area.
- Identifies during the PM the potential problems with tooling and/or components that could put on risk their usage by production areas and communicate it to their immediate supervisor.
- Communicate to his immediate supervisor the tooling problems reported by production and gives the proper solution.
- In their area proposes ideas for improvement according the activities and functions performed with their team, exposing them like Kaizen or Improvement projects to the Plant team.
- Alignment and attachment to the Internal Regulation of Employment and Collective Bargaining Agreement set by the organization.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Communicate to the Safety and Health any unsafe conditions detected and/or created by the activities performed during operations.
- Receives, review and record all the new tooling in order to confirm that all is OK and that the tooling received are matching according to the invoice received, then confirms to the Launch manager and Engineering supervisor the results of this revision.
- Is responsible to keep updated all tooling on the date codes availability (mainly molds) for the current production year and along the project life(fechadores).
Qualifications:
Machine and tool technician or engineer in mechanics, industrial or similar.
3 or more years of experience in the manufacturing processes area, preferably in urethane injection molds, multi-process tooling, and basic knowledge of electricity.
