Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Embedded Software Integrator Engineer (f/m) to join our Avionics Software department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing critical embedded avionics or simulation applications for specific hardware platforms. As part of the Avionics and Simulation Products domain, you will be involved in end-to-end real-time software integration aiming at securing aircraft airworthiness and performance. This organization acts as an internal supplier and Chamber of Reference for Software and Electronics. You will operate in a highly regulated environment, balancing technical excellence with industrial constraints to deliver high-quality embedded products for all Airbus aircraft programs.

Your challenges:


  • Verify the correct implementation of system requirements and contribute to certification (DO178B/C DAL A to C).
  • Define system interfaces and manage consistent implementation across functions and hardware.
  • Design test strategies and perform integration using hardware tools (probes, bus analyzers, emulators).
  • Provide technical support through failure report analysis and investigation of technical requests.
  • Manage subcontracted software activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.



Your boarding pass:


  • Professional experience in software integration for critical embedded operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Low-Layer software (OS, computer/processor architecture, Multi-Core Power PC).
  • Mastery of the V-cycle development process, specifically Integration & Verification phases.
  • Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems and standard DevOps environments.
  • Negotiation level in both English and French.
