
Lead Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Job purpose and scope
- Provide technical support to customer on various workflows assigned.
- Participate and present engineering and technical solutions to different stakeholders.
- Review of P&IDs, layouts, specifications, and other instrument documents.
Role and Responsibilities
- 5-10 years of experience in Plant Operations, Maintenance and Instrumentation Reliability.
- Familiarity of hazardous are classification, P & ID, Fire & Gas Layout diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Safe charts etc.
- Experience in calibration of all field Instruments like Transmitters, Switches, Valves, Fire and Gas detectors, Analyzers etc.
- Hands on experience in DCS, ESD’s, SIS, PLCs, Fire and gas detection system.
- Awareness of various field instrument selection and installation guidelines.
- Knowledge of equipment criticality assessment.
- Knowledge of SIL assessment will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE and others related standards.
- Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is preferred.
- Analyzing performance of the filed Instruments and Alarms.
- To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task.
- Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams.
- MS office suites (Excel, Word, Power point)
- Tableau, PowerBI, SPI InTools, exSILentia, SIL solver will be an added advantage

- Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
- Strong written communication skills as well as routine interactions with Project teams.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle discussions / communications independently.
- Works in a Collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of ISO Standards, Legends, and symbols.
- B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational enhancements
- Evaluate & monitor existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Should work with different teams within the Customer organization and collaborate to deliver projects with stringent timelines.
