Safety & Environmental Lead - Ontario

The Safety & Environmental Lead - Ontario is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring at the facility to ensure the site is in compliance with Federal, Provincial, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, and to safeguard the safety and well-being of employees across 3 manufacturing sites. Oversees required trainings, inspections, and is a subject matter expert for applicable regulations, regulatory interpretations, and permit requirements that are necessary for operations. This position works with all levels within the organization and alerts leadership teams on corrective actions and process improvements related to environmental, health, and safety hazards.
