Senior Presales Solution Architect - AI, Cloud

Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

Solution Discovery & Architecture

  • Lead enterprise discovery workshops to understand customer business objectives, AI adoption maturity, and cloud transformation needs

  • Design end-to-end AI and cloud solutions including data platforms, intelligent applications, automation, and modernized architectures

  • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions leveraging AI/ML, GenAI, cloud-native, and hybrid environments

  • Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps aligned to customer business outcomes

AI & Cloud Solutioning

  • Define AI/ML use cases including predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, GenAI, and automation across industries

  • Design AI-enabled enterprise architectures integrating data engineering, MLOps, model lifecycle, and AI governance

  • Recommend cloud services (Azure/AWS) for AI workloads such as data lakes, AI services, model deployment, and APIs

  • Align solutions with responsible AI practices, compliance, and enterprise security standards

Cost Modeling & Financial Analysis

  • Develop detailed cost models and ROI/TCO analyses for AI and cloud transformation initiatives

  • Build cost estimates for infrastructure, AI model lifecycle, data platforms, and operations

  • Create investment scenarios demonstrating business value, productivity gains, and innovation outcomes

  • Partner with finance and delivery teams to validate pricing, margins, and commercial feasibility

Technical Proposal Development

  • Own end-to-end presales deliverables including RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, and executive presentations

  • Develop compelling proposals covering architecture, implementation approach, timelines, risks, and success metrics

  • Translate complex AI and cloud capabilities into business-aligned value propositions

  • Leverage GenAI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate proposal development and improve quality

Stakeholder Engagement & Deal Support

  • Present solutions to CXO and senior stakeholders, articulating business impact and innovation value

  • Support sales teams in large/strategic deals and drive differentiation through AI-led solutions

  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, delivery, security, finance) for solution validation

  • Contribute to deal strategy, win themes, and competitive positioning

Delivery Alignment & Post-Sales Support

  • Ensure seamless transition from presales to delivery with clear architecture and execution plans

  • Participate in solution kickoffs and governance discussions to ensure alignment

  • Continuously refine solution approaches based on delivery feedback and market trends

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in presales, solution architecture, or consulting roles focused on AI and cloud

  • Strong track record of designing and winning complex enterprise deals involving AI and digital transformation

  • Experience in building AI-driven solutions and cloud modernization strategies

  • Ability to create high-quality technical proposals and influence decision-making

Technical Expertise

  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (preferred) / AWS / GCP

  • Hands-on exposure to AI/ML technologies, including GenAI, NLP, Computer Vision, MLOps frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, real-time pipelines)

  • Experience with application modernization, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures

  • Familiarity with DevOps, IaC, automation, and observability practices

  • Proficient use of GenAI tools for solutioning, documentation, and productivity

Certifications & Nice-to-Haves

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert / AWS Solutions Architect Professional

  • AI/ML certifications (Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty, etc.)

  • Experience in AI governance, Responsible AI frameworks

  • ITIL / Service management frameworks

  • Exposure to GTM strategy, pricing models, or business development

  • Prior experience in system integrators, consulting firms, or global delivery models

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 15+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Master’s degree preferred
