YOUR MISSION

1. Process Standardization & Quality Assurance through SOP. Tech trial scheduling while hosting and chairing each technical trial stage (Sample size, EXT size, series, FSR). SOP confirmation.

2. Attending teardown meetings in a given season. Supporting all development and PDC teams to achieve product execution using Value Engineering and Build in Quality practices.

3. Tooling. Technical assistance and advise from sample size tooling and full size tooling. Co-ordination between development, T2 mold shop and T1 vendor. Mold confirmation release into mass production use.

4. Project management in working with proven and approved suppliers to towards PACE Production and Quality Assurance best practice initiatives. Continuously search for improved processes, technologies, automation

with value added approach from suppliers.

5. People Development. Coach and mentor key factory stakeholders on Puma’s corporate values and seasonal KPI goals. Supporting and coaching collaborative problem solving techniques to achieve best quality performance.

YOUR TALENT

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in footwear, apparel, sporting goods, manufacturing, product development, quality assurance, or tooling engineering.
  • Proven experience in product development processes, technical trials, tooling management, and production commercialization.
  • Experience working with suppliers, factories, and cross-functional teams in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, SOP development, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and mold development.
  • Understanding of Value Engineering, Build-in-Quality (BIQ), and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with technical trial management from sample development through mass production.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Familiarity with production planning, process optimization, automation, and manufacturing technologies.

Leadership & Project Management Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating stakeholders across development, engineering, quality, sourcing, and supplier teams.
  • Ability to drive initiatives independently and influence decision-making across different functions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative problem-solving and drive alignment among diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global footwear or sporting goods brands.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance frameworks, and supplier development programs.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Quality Management is an advantage.
